Precedent braking problems

2007 48Volt club car precedent - when going forward and let off the pedal, the cart coasts but then starts to drag and act like it is in reverse, even tho the switch is not moved, also the reverse buzzer will sound until in stops - I do not even touch the brake pedal - any suggestions? By the way, the buzzer used to sound if the cart coasted backwards on a hill, it does not anymore, related?

Regen braking. This is normal. Let it do it too much and cart will go into limp mode. If so put cart in tow wait 10 sec and back to run.

not normal, I have had the cart for several years and realize the normal regen braking that engages when coasting too fast down hills etc. This is VERY aggressive braking that just began to occur. It will practically throw you thru the windshield, and happens on flat ground in normal use,

Turned out to be the speed sensor, replaced it with unit bought from Amazon and cart is working fine now

Thanks for updating. The buzzer sounding is not normal with regen braking, but the buzzer will sound when the cart is preventing rollaways...
