Slow Acceleration
I have a new to me 94 DS that is painstakingly slow on acceleration.
The cart was rarely used and is in primo condition It is a 36v system It has new, June 2014, Trojans It has new batt cables It has 22" Sahara Classic tires It will run 25mph flat out on level ground All connections seem to be tight If I don't get a little run at it I can't get it on my trailer. Any Ideas? |

Re: Slow Acceleration
Torque equal amps. You don't have enough amps.

Re: Slow Acceleration
6 is stock on most carts, 4 is a popular upgrade, 2 is general not needed unless the cart is to be upgraded with a really big motor or need a lot of torque. Another thought is your soleniod big enough and/or up to snuff, same to be said of your controller. These guys have everything to do with delivering amps and torque.
