PQ bandit, 4ga cables what next?
I just installed the Plum Quick bandit and a full set of 4 ga cables on my 07 precedent, but I want advice on which parts to do next. I'm reading about upgrading the solenoid, F&R switch, controller etc and I don't know what is best to do next.
My overall goal isn't top speed but more torque and acceleration off the line. Any suggestions on what you'd do next? |

Re: PQ bandit, 4ga cables what next?
So in looking at solenoids and controllers, do I need to match the amperage to anything? I.E. a 400 amp solenoid with a 400 amp controller? Or do they have to be equal?
Also does it really make a difference to change out the F&R switch? |

Yes you want to match them up, that is the key. I think your cart you don't need to change the switch, it is a rocker switch correct?

Yeah its a rocker type switch that lays horizontal. I'd read that the F&R switch can be the weak link in a system if you've changed the other parts and havent changed that out yet. So you're saying I need to keep the Amps equal on the solenoid and the controller?
I'm looking at this solenoid : http://www.eastcoastcarts.com/catalo...arts/30912.htm With This controller: http://www.eastcoastcarts.com/catalo...mCarts/500.htm Is that a smart combination? |

A 500 Amp controller is great, but I doub't that motor pulls anywhere near 500Amps. I don't have the specs on the Bandit, but I assume it is pretty close to the AMD 3294 motor. Do a google search for Speed Code 3294 and see what you get. |

I'm not sure the amps of the Bandit motor either but I did search 3294 motor and found a few things. I guess what I'm really trying to figure out is what are the Solenoid and Controller that would best fit my current situation and setup. Like the two I mentioned above, would those be wise choices?

The solenoid will work but if you ever consider upgrading the motor, spend the extra money and go with the 500 amp controller. I like the Curtis above, I have it and works great. oh just noticed you have the 2007, so you would need to verify that controller but they should have what you need. |

What kind of speed would you see with an all stock cart, stock tires, just a motor upgrade and programmer ? |
