Oh okay. The solenoid I pulled off my cart does not have one. The replacement solenoid I purchased (have yet to put it on) has one. Do you think the one on my cart was after market? Possibly the wrong solenoid for the cart?

You mentioned a previous owner. My best guess is that the resistor was replaced with the wrong size and the diode was removed by the previous owner.

It was leased to a CC and re-manufactured by Club Car. Not sure how that could not have been caught. So hopefully a new solenoid (with diode installed) and a new resistor will fix my issue. If not, I'm calling for backup!

My 2010 Precedent is also remanufactured. First 2 digits of VIN are 2P.

Are you sure it was refurb'ed by CC or some other shop?

Well it would have a serial number starting with the letters listed above if it was actually refurb'ed by CC whereas is refurb'ed by a local CC shop it would still carry its OE serial number.... Big difference.... Huge
