Shuttering clutch
I have a 89 CC , stock clutch with a power spring new drive belt with 12 in wheels and tires. The cart now shutters, shakes and rattles whent starting from a full stop. It does it worse in reverse than forward. The surfaces are shinny on both the drive and driven clutch. Both feel like they have smoth radial ridges but not scratched or grooved.
I did a search and found some posts suggesting that the clutch surfaces need sanding if they have a polish to them. Mine certainly do. Have I agraveated the situation by adding the power spring. Will doing the driven clutch machining help with the spring? |
