Sergio, you're awesome. I've already discovered from your post that I had the pack neg jumpered wrong.

1.) I have corrected that and ran the black 10ga wire off the back of the charge receptacle to the pack neg.

2.) I have disconnected the sense wire and taken out the fuse. (just left these wires hanging out of the way).

3.) I have pulled the OBC/Harness connector apart and I am going to simply snip the blue and white wires on the harness side and connect them together.

Is this all?

What that meant was that between Regen 1 and 2, only a Regen 2 has a R/T switch. All IQ and Excel systems have a R/T regardless

Just to clarify

No...with a "Q" in the serial number (and given the year) its definitely an IQ cart (which technically is a more modern Regen cart)....you do NOT have Regen 2 - that image was primarily created to help people figure out whether they owned series or sepex motor/drive systems. Regen 2 was last manufactured in 2001, I think.

OOPS = CCF jumped in to clarify too.

Well, I got everything ready for the new charger, which I'm told will be here Friday. Fingers crossed this works. I did notice when putting the final touches on it last night that when I was putting the nut back on the Pack Neg, I accidentally touched my knee to the frame of the cart and got a little jolt in the hand touching the negative post on battery #6. Is that normal?

Thank you both. You're absolutely correct...it's a 2003 IQ... There's a little service port under the F/R switch that the Club car website says identifies it as such also.

I don't think that is right. There should not be any voltage on the frame of the cart.

Put meter test leads, red on frame and black on main neg. should not have any voltage.

Well I got the new charger today. Plugged it in, the three LED lights came on for about 2 seconds and then went out. Not charging...I'm at a loss.

Disregard...I didn't have the charger plugged into a "grounded" AC outlet. Changed plugs , working great...thanks to all on this site for the help.
