Well, if the solenoid is good and the motor runs then isn't this the only piece of the puzzle left to wreak havoc?

Thanks for the guidance this afternoon...the controller is about all it could be I think. At least i have it narrowed down.

Not exactly. Regen-1 can fail to run due to OBC. Also notorious to misbehave with imperfect connections of plugs and connectors. Search Regen 1 on this site. There are a number of useful suggestions Plus a link to a full maintenance manual. Since that controller is no longer available its worth searching, reading and troubleshooting more before spending.

When I got the cart it wouldn't charge so I bought a new charger and bypassed the obc so it should be out of the equation. At least thats how I have been comprehending what I have been reading.

he does bring up a good point .. check all your wires and connections of plugs
