86 DS Repair verification
Working on a resistor cart. When I picked it up it would only run wide open with key on or off. I checked the solenoids with the motor disconnected. With the first click the control sol. has voltage and clicks, second switch I have voltage and no sol click, same with the third and forth, with the fifth switch click I have voltage and sol clicks. This would tell me the 2nd,3rd,and 4th sol are bad (got voltage and no click)and the fifth is probably welded closed due to heat and that is why the cart wants to take off as soon as the cables are hooked up. Just looking for verification before I buy all new solenoids

Re: 86 DS Repair verification
Sounds like you are on the right track. It is usually recommended to replace them all at once since they get used so much.
