2000 creak on right side
I have a 2000 cart and at low and high speeds theres a creak on the right side. I ve changed the brakes and there good. So I dont think that could be the problem. Anyone know what the cause of this is? Only thing I think can be left is the bearing? How hard is it to replace that? Is that the cause most likely?

Re: 2000 creak on right side
It could be the bearing. There is a snap ring retaining it in the tube and you may need a puller for the axle. Or the reversed drum trick...

Re: 2000 creak on right side
The bearing is pressed onto the axle. You can have it done at a local shop if your not set up for that type of thing once you get the axle off.

Re: 2000 creak on right side
So for someone like me with manchaincal ability is it complex? Or fairly easy? Cause I ve had the brake drum and all that out and off before. To replace them.

NO not complicated. Pull the drum and remove the snap-ring and pull the axle with the bearing on it.
