hitch's and winch's
Need to add a winch to the front of my buggie - standard EZGO 4" drop axle lift right now. Seems the only way to mount a winch is to have a bracket custom made for the front axle.
Trailer hitch for rear with flip seat - again it seems as if my only option is custom built - was told the extension wouldn't work on my seat. Would like to see some of the ideas or options others have used for these two additions... |

Re: hitch's and winch's
I did build one for my rear seat. Very easy and extremely sturdy. Check out my gallery or the link in my sig.
Made it out of an extension tube I got from Harbor Freight and two pieces of angle iron. |

Re: hitch's and winch's
I use a "The Beast" brush guard on the front of my cart. Seller is on eBay. ezgoparts or something to that effect. Probably the best of cheap brush guards/ winch pads. I think they are $89 now. I did make one modification, which was to build a double heim joint stay which attaches from the receiver tube to the towing lug on the front axle. As it comes, it has no torsional resistance. Under more than a light pull, the tubing the guard is made from tries to twist. With the stay installed, there is none of that.
