Default 2001 ezgo PDS leaf spring bushings squeaking

My rear leaf spring bushings are squeaking and driving me crazy. I have sprayed them with everything from wd 40 to silicone spray which will work for a short time but always comes back. Would replacing them fix the problem? I dont know how unless they get brittle or something. looking at them they look fine no cracks or dryrot of any type. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had this happen on my golf cart last summer. I also believed that my bushings where squeaking but it turned out to be the leaf springs themselves. What fixed mine was prying the leaf springs apart and spraying WD-40 between the leafs.

Thanks for the input but I believe mine is coming from the bushings, because the squeaking goes away for awhile after lubing them.

Not sure if it works on carts, don't see why it wouldn't, but on vehicles I often put lithium or bearing grease on then. The sprays evaporate, while the grease will remain and self lube... Yep that's a lot of work for a squeak.
