My battery pack voltage is: 43.9
Pin #1 pedal down 6.14
Pin #1 pedal up 10.18
Pin #5 42.9
Pin #6 42.9
Pin #7 36.0
Thanks

If these voltages are being measured between Pins 1 & 2, the ITS is probably okay.

Pin #5 42.9
This voltage should only be present if the Pedal is pushed. (Pedal microswitch closed)

Pin #6 42.9
This voltage will be present whenever Run/Tow is in Run and Key is ON.

Pin #7 36.0
This should read Zero Volts when solenoid is energized.

Thanks
Just to be sure.
The voltage between pins 1&2 is measured with test leads on pins 1&2.
The voltage on Pins 5, 6 & 7 is measure with negative test lead on battery pack negative terminal and Positive test lead on the respective pins on the controller.

What are the voltages on Pin-5 when the pedal is up and when the pedal is down?

What are the voltages on Pin-7 when the pedal is up and when the pedal is down?

Pin #7 is 42.1 not 36.0 . Is 42.1 with pedal up or down and solenoid is energized.I know the solenoid is energized,it measured 43.0 volts when I turned the key on.

That is odd. The solenoid gets B+ (battery pack voltage) on one side of the coil via switches external to the controller and B- (Battery negative or ground) via pin-7 on the controller.
Since the negative test lead is connected to B-, you should measure B+ on pin-7 when the controller isn't sending B- to the solenoid and Zero Volts when it is.

Are you sure the negative test lead is attached to the main negative post on the battery pack?

Also, what is the voltage on Pin-5 with pedal up and pedal down?

Johnnieb,I'm sorry I can"t seem to follow you.I'm measuring the small posts on the solenoid
across and getting 43.0 volts, with 1 lead on 1 side and 1 lead on the other. It sounds like I
may not be measuring it correctly. Pin #5 measured 42.9 with pedal up or down,no difference.

Apparently, the solenoid contacts are closing, so let's not dwell on it.

Pin-5 having Battery voltage on it with the pedal up and with the pedal down is the problem.
The microswitch in the pedal box is not opening when the pedal is up, so it is either maladjusted or bad.

Fix the pedal microswitch and your cart will most likely be running like it was before.

Thank you very much JohnnyB, that was it! Because I have a western the front body section includes the floorboards so I would have had to remove the front of the cart and it's not as easy as an ezgo, so I cut a small section out of the floor so I could get to the pedal box. There is where I saw the switch in pieces. I actually taped it together to check if that was all that was wrong and the cart runs great. New switch will come in Wednesday. Thanks again!

Glad to hear the cart is on its way to recovery.

Do me a favor when you get the new switch installed and adjusted.

When you are driving, listen for the solenoid clicks.

Does the solenoid engage when the pedal is pushed and disengage when you take you foot off pedal?

JohnnyB, my solenoid clicks on and then off after a few seconds when I turn the key on with the switch in forward. When I step on the pedal the solenoid clicks on. It also clicks off after a few seconds when I let up on the pedal. Hope this helps.
