Thanks for the info.
Looks like I should have researched this further before purchasing the aftermarket kit.
I did search the internet extensively & didn't know that there was a Club Car factory kit.
Bummer.

The CC kits are becoming more difficult to find

Do you think that the cover keeps your components from getting wet?
Do you have an offroad cart or strictly street or golfcourse cart?

Mine is street use only. However, when driving on the road after a FLorida downpour I am sure it helps keep components dry. I did notice there is a warning on the front side of the electronics plate above the OBC, stating water can damage parts

Well guys, after researching I found the Sticky by Canine for the 8v conversion & have decided that I need to try that myself.
I hate to have my controller & solenoid exposed to the elements so what I will do is cut in the front of my tub so that the 6 8v batteries will fit in my battery bucket & I can keep the factory layout for the controller & solenoid.
I have wasted probably $150 bucks by purchasing this conversion kit(paid $265 & will use the wiring & battery cables along with the hold downs) but believe me, I have learned my lesson.
Research on BGW before any other project on my cart thoroughly.
