Secondary fixed sheave will not come off
I replaced my secondary sheave a few weeks ago with no problems getting the fixed sheave off but things are a little different on my buddy's cart. We tried PB blaster and let it sit overnight. No luck. Then we tried heating with a propane torch the next day and tapping on the puller with a metal hammer. Again no luck. We heated it up again last night and tried to use an impact gun to get it free and its still stuck on there GOOD and TIGHT. Can't even get it to budge and we used so much force that we stripped the 6mm puller holes out. I drilled and re-tapped the holes to 1/4-20 but I'm afraid its just going to strip out again if we need to apply that much force. Anyone have any tricks they use to get these off when they're stuck on the shaft really bad like this.

Re: Secondary fixed sheave will not come off
Thanks for the link Ogre...maybe I was heating it TOO much from what I've read. Gonna give it another shot tonight and hope it works out.
