Yamaha G2 4 cycle
I have a yamaha g2 that over heats when you drive after a half hour or so i have put a lot of new parts now im lost. Can someone help me please?

Is the fan intake clear? I removed mine and freed up the opening by removing all the screens. I also had an extreme oil leak on the valve cover which ran down the fins of the cylinder. When I pulled the plastic engine shroud I found the whole inside packed full of dirt and junk that blocked the air flow. Mines a 87 G2 so it has 39 years of junk on the inside, all cleaned now and runs much cooler.
