Jake’s 3” lift on 2017+ Drive 2 tire fit
Has anyone tried the Jake’s 3” spindle lift with 23” road tires on the 2017+ Drive 2? I’m confident you would have to trim the black rocker panel in the rear, but other that curious if I can avoid moving up to the 6” spindle kit and stick with a three inch lift.

Re: Jake’s 3” lift on 2017+ Drive 2 tire fit
3 inch is a great lift. Not to high, plenty stable.
I had a 3 inch lift on my 2007 g29. I had 22x11x10 tires. no issues. As far as 23, you will probably have to trim some plastics in the back I now have a 2015 g29 with a 6 inch lift and 23 inch tires and 14" wheels Its almost too high for me. Im honestly trying to find a 4" lift for my cart 6" rides really nice, but its pretty high |

Re: Jake’s 3” lift on 2017+ Drive 2 tire fit
I have a 2018 Drive PTV with the Jake's 3" lift and 23" off-road tires. I like the lift and the look of the cart, but the 3" spindle lift ruins your turning radius. If I had it to do over again, I'd go with the 2" lift from Yamaha and keep the stock turning radius.
The Jake's 6" lift I have on my 09' G29 didn't negatively affect the turning radius and is fine. |
