1986.5-1987 marathon motor is different???
well I was told by previous owner I had a 1984 but it is not.... its a 1986.5-1987..... As I was tearing things down to do a re-build and to see what I will need I found out that I have the odd ball year with the motor that has a threaded keyed shaft... I was wondering if any one has made an adapter to fit a normal spline motor on one of these? I guess the motor I have needs to be re-built I was planning on buying a new motor and upgrade but there really aren't many options for a replacement... motor number 5bc48jb815 curious what others have done to upgrade or should I just have it rebuilt? thanks for any help
