I know it's like a twilight zone

Well I actually did some work on my cart this weekend, I would not say it is a bunch but I did play with it, I finally bleed out the brakes, both resevoirs are filled up and there seems to be no leeks. I also started running the wire. This does not include the main harness which comes with most carts I am still debating that part, but it does make it easier in some ways to go with that part.

I prepped the wires also for the fnr of the cart, and also the wires to include the torque/speed of the motor. While I was at it I ran them for the spare 12V battery and the main pack, Scotty's little toggle will come in handy for monitoring both.

I am going to keep the tie wraps in place for the time being, well until I know most of the items are working so I know I do not have any issues with the wiring. My plan is to use wax string to wrap the wires at the end to keep them nice and tight, then cover them with wire loom.

Well it is a start, how about that..I had to download stuff this morning from Chuck at EMP, I hadn't yet, maybe I can work on some of the wiring yet tonight, but I still need to get my battery cables and lugs before I can do too much. I think I will make my decision regarding the contactors tonight so they can me mounted up.

Here is my diagram for using 2 SW202 contactors for F/R and the EMP 2 speed motor. If you do not have a plug brake (no A2 lug on the controller) just eliminate that wire to the F/R contactor

Chuck at EMP didn't think it was necessary to get the controller with a plug brake but talking to Carl at EVDrives.com thought it would be a good idea since it will be so easy for someone to hit the F/R toggle switch on the fly and switch you into reverse.
