Motor will run on after stopping
Not every time mostly after a longer ride. When I come to a stop the motor will not completly shut off. It will chug on for a few seconds sometimes wanting to go in reverse. What might be causing this?

Re: Motor will run on after stopping
It may be pre igniting after shutdown.
Could be to hot a spark plug, carbon build up, timing off or a dirty carb causing it to run lean. Also check the cooling fins on the engine. |

Re: Motor will run on after stopping
Just for giggles, try unplugging your back up buzzer. Not as often on G9's as G8's, but it's a easy test.

Re: Motor will run on after stopping
I don't have a back up buzzer. I guess the previous owner took it off.
Let me try the plug. What is the best plug for my G9? |
