CC DS Springs on EZGO
I want to soften the ride on my ezgo workhorse. I have a long travel front end, but the hd springs on the back make it ride hard still. I remember the CC DS carts are a single leaf and I think this would help soften the ride if they will fit on the EZGO. Any idea if it will work? I suppose I can measure the leaf spring length and compare.
How difficult is it to take a leaf out of my workhorse spring pack? |

Re: CC DS Springs on EZGO
To remove a leaf, remove u-bolts,and the center-bolt thru the spring pack. The longer leafs give strength, shorter are more for pack-thickness,so removing the leaf under the main would soften the ride.If the CC springs are the same width, the leafs will fit,the main-leafs would have to be measured eye to eye, along the spring, and always measure from each end to the center-bolt,in case they are offset. You can get a new center bolt at a spring-shop,they are either 5/16",or 3/8" and very cheap.Hope this helps.
