Default curtis controler 1268-5403 error 24

Hi, I'm new to the golf cart world. I have searched and tried many fixes and so far nothing has worked. I have a new to me 2015 Star EV Classic 48 v golf cart. The motor works, but is seems stuck in slow mode, going forward. It goes faster in reverse than forwards. I keep getting the 24 error code on the controller.

1. Main Contactor missing or wire to coil open.
2. Controller defective.

I have changed out the solenoid, checked all the fuses I can find, changed out the Auxiliary relay 48V relay, the high low switch and the forward reverse switch. I still get the same error code. I even tried a new controller. I can't find anything else that I can try. Not sure what 1. means. Don't see a coil or contactor listed on the parts list.

Anyone have any suggestions? I would appreciate it.
