Help reading spark plug
Hi all,
I'm trying to fine tune the carb jetting on my 93 G8. I took this pic after about a 15 minute ride around the neighborhood. I know what *I* think it looks like but I would like the opinion of some others here with more experience than me. Thanks for any help! Todd |

Re: Help reading spark plug
Hard to tell in the pic. You want the ceramic part to be a nice almond color. If its still super white then you are lean.

Re: Help reading spark plug
You ideally want a nice tan coloring on the tip of the electrode(the thin hooked metal area above the porcelain),that would indicate good low to mid range burn, the flat ring surrounding the porcelain should be light brown to tan, that is your top end burn.Hope this helps.
