Terminal for accessories

I'm new to the electric motor setup. Can someone walk me through how to setup a terminal block so i can run accessories like a bluetooth amp, lights, etc. I have a 48v with 4 12vs. I purchased the 2009 precedent with lights already installed and working. They have it just straight wired but I would like to add a block so I can add an amp and led lights with switches.

By using the existing battery setup how would i go by adding a terminal? Does anyone have a diagram?

Is it just me, or is that diagram still confusing as hell? I can stare at it for hours but it just doesn't make sense. For example, what it a bus? What do you need the battery meter for? Is that just a multimeter connected to test it? Where do you put the ground on a cart? Sorry, I just don't know about electrical stuff.

V1 i assume you already have a reducer. All negative wires connect to the pack neg. A neg buss is the logical solution for all new accessories and existing to connect to one point.
the positive will go to the new fuse panel, then all accessory positives are fed from the fuse panel.
most fuse panels will have the neg buss integrated.
if you use a separate neg buss make sure it is isolated from the frame.

Sean a meter is good to have to watch pack voltage when you are out and about to know when to head home. 48v is 50% charged. I like mine for that reason to tell the kids when to head back.

Once you've wired a few of those, it makes sense. The first time you wire one, it makes no sense.

And as to the OP, his question is asked in the manner of him not having a reducer. He wants to setup a power distribution block of his batteries. Without a reducer, you would select one of your 12V batteries and just wire the distribution block via it. Depending on the amount of amperage you intend on drawing, a reducer may be needed. I don't use reducers for simple light installs, however if you add lights and amps and this that and the other then you'll likely need one.
