a set of 120 volt lights, when cut in half and terminated will require only 60 volts to light the remaining lights in the set.......They light up just fine on 48 to 52 volts

it is very simple math........Count the number of bulbs on the string, and divide the string voltage by the bulb count and this will tell you what the voltage per bulb is, but, that really don't matter much, just use half the bulbs for a 48 volt cart, and one third for a 36 volt cart

Not rocket science

But, if you want to spend a lot, go buy a voltage reducer, then add a cigarette lighter plug, then buy one of those $10 plug in inverters from Walmart and you are done

Scottyn had a very nice voltage reducer with directions, and I bet he will get you the rest of the components to do this job ASAP

don't feel that way
others may not have seen your lights and are unbelievers
i run into this all the time
strippers get mad when i pay them with monopoly money
they tell me "it's not real"
i just smile and tell them i bought a hotel with it last night
they insist the money is not real
i point to their chest and say it's as real as those !!

Because those things were wired to just 12 volts worth of batteries in your battery pack. Most don't like taking a load off of just one or two batteries in an entire bank of batteries. They feel the load and charging imbalance will cause premature battery failure.
