Yamaha G16 Battery Hold down
On my yamaha g16, the nuts on the bars on the battery hold down slipped off the threads and i cannot figure out a way to get them back on the threads, any advice or should i go to the fleet rental place near me and buy one out of their boneyard?

If they are the long rods with thread at the end, they have them at farm supply places. Here place called tractor supply.

so, cut my old ones out of the plastic bar and go get new ones? I cannot pull them out so ill hacksaw them in half. Are the bolts on the end 10 mm?

You should be able to find ones like this or similar.....are the ones I am talking about. Make sure they work for what you are doing I don't recall what yours look like. Lot of these come with normal nuts and washers.

If the ones you have now are stuck, whack the top of the rod with a hammer to free it from the plastic part that goes over the battery. No need to start chopping everything up.
