I should clarify something. (were in electric ezgo).... You can GROUND to frame on a gas cart but DO NOT GROUND to frame on an electric cart. On a gasser your better off grounding to the negative terminal on the battery anyways. On an electric you run the risk of doing damage to controllers or other components if you ground to frame.

I thought the main reason to not ground to the frame is that you loose control of the voltage. If you connect to any positive terminal and then ground to the frame you end up with 36 volts (well 36 to 38v). Those front holigen light bars are 12 volts, correct?
