How much weight
If you have a TXT with a sepex motor and upgraded XCT 400 controller...
Can this type of cart on flat roads safely carry 2 adults upfront and 3 preteen kids on the flip seat without burning anything up? Looking for feedback in general terms... People put flip seats in carts to carry a couple extra people, but it sure seems like a lot of weight when carts are designed for 2 people and golf clubs. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Re: How much weight
it should do fine but you may want to put in some heavy duty rear springs

Re: How much weight
There are hundreds of carts in my little city doing this every day with no issues. The majority of them have stock golf cart electronics.
It is very common for them to have enhanced rear springs. Also, EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha and others make purpose built 4 passenger carts. Some with standard electronics and sometimes a little beefed up. This cart is an example. |

Re: How much weight
I have a 2011 TXT48 (sepex) with stock motor/controller.
I also have the rear seat with heavy rear springs. I almost always have 2 adult/2 kids on the cart. But I also pull a 16' long trailer with it in the annual Christmas parade... In the parade it's just two adults in the cart and 6 (or more) people on the float (on flat terrain) and I haven't burnt anything up yet. I've pulled other trailers, but they were smaller. If you are on flat terrain, you shouldn't have a problem. |
