Ok! Now that sounds fun
I was wondering if you can just buy the adaptor parts
I seen the kit with the engine for about 2,600
But I seen the engine it’s self for only 1,100
From Northern I wonder if the adaptor parts are that expensive

Thanks
Bill.

So your wanting to know if the kits are worth it? hmmmm, good question. in the long run I would say that most of the kits are worth it. everything is already figured out and all the parts you need to complete the swap come in the kit. There are alot of things that come up that you don't think of at first, from cables, belts, exhaust, lifts, clutch, ect. The kits can have you going in a weekend. Getting just the engine and frame will have you spending lots of time trying to figure the rest of it out and the cost of the extra things adds up pretty quick. Have you looked at the kits from CPP? He's got some decent prices and great support.
If it were me, i'd look for a vtwin cart someone needs to sell. That's what I did, I figured it up every way you could and decided that was the most cost effective way to go. My biggest hang up was using a nice cart that already had a good value.
example:
you have a cart worth $2500
you install a $2500 vtwin kit.
Then value of your cart might be $3500 (if your lucky)
I know that I could find a vtwin cart for $3000 or less. so spending $2500 on a kit seems a little much to me. Of course by doing this your taking a risk that the engine an everything is in good shape.
