Default Volt meter recommendation

After I dug into the 03 DS we got I decided to rewire the lights, horn due to the harness having 26 scotch lock connectors in it I despise those **** things!

I also want to replace the analog gas gauge like volt meter. I'm having trouble finding one that will fit in the round gauge hole the analog one is in. Can anybody recommend a decent digital one that would fit without breaking the bank?

The one I bought is expensive. It is in my signature Victron BMV 700. I too was trying to find a round one but they are hard to find. I think I finally found one on ebay that was 2" or 2-1/16" but by then I had decided on my present one. Have to look hard to find one that reads upwards of 48v.

Yes I have seen yours but they are not round to fit in my existing hole or do you have round ones too?

No, an old BGW friend used to make a round hole conversion but they didn't sell well and he moved on. A few of you will remember CRASH12888

By far.... It tells me voltage, wattage, amp-hours (consumed and replenished), calculated time left and give amp usage, etc. It is a very intuitive device and includes a 500a shunt.

Easy installation too.

Blue Sea makes a number of different meters that mount in a 2" round hole. Sort of expensive but you can sometimes find a deal on Ebay. I bought a new one on Ebay for around $100 that monitors both amperage and voltage.

Blue Sea also has some meters for smaller diameter holes.
