Dim Lights
I have a 1996 TXT Electric golf cart that I mounted a light kit to. Tail lights work great, but headlights are very dim, and drivers side light barely comes on. What might be my problem? Someone said check fuse block. Where is this located? I feel like its a ground problem, but im an idiot when it comes to anything electrical.

Re: Dim Lights
Fuse block should be under seat, drivers side. My 2012 had corroded glass fuses causing voltage problems that I replaced with new mini fuse block.
Sounds like a bad/ corroded connection. Voltage check as Gornman suggest will confirm, disprove. Keep in mind “ground” is not the frame but ground wire from 12 volt convertor. Negative lead of meter to battery negative, check for 12 volts on light wire/lead. Download wireing diagram from stickies here. |
