Help with older Club CAr
The Club Car I have ran slowly with the older 6 volt batteries, but it would eventually go....Now I have replaced all 6 batteries with brand new batteries and it is very slow in forward, however, reverse goes like new...???I have gone over the wiring diagram many times and relatively sure they are wired correctly.....I do hear the solinods click when the accelerator is depressed, but the cart barely moves......
Anyone.....thanks |

Re: Help with older Club CAr
Sounds like you have the forward and reverse lead switched. What year is your cart?

Re: Help with older Club CAr
You can find the diagram for your cart in the sticky section. If not, you can post a picture. If it is a resistor cart, I can help. Make sure the picture includes the batteries and the F/R switch.

Re: Help with older Club CAr
Post the carets serial # then we will know what you have. The id tag is on the floor where it meets the under side of the passenger glove box... It will be visible if you put your left ear on the passenger floor ..... LOL

Re: Help with older Club CAr
As you can probably guess, I am new to this forum, where would I find the "sticky section"?
Thanks |

Re: Help with older Club CAr
That is a 1982 cart ...... you were not kidding she's old
We do not have a lot on the caroche model CC. There may be a diagram in the stickies..... To locate the RED STICKIE topics and FAQ Simply click on the Electric club car section at the top of this page (right below 'mark forums read')or on the home page menu.... |

Re: Help with older Club CAr
Just to let you know, I found a CD on Ebay, that is suppose to cover 1981 through 1985 Club Cars.....also, thanks for steering me towards the "sticky" section, as I did find another wiring diagram for this older model. However, electricity is magic and mirrors to me, I can follow a "basic" diagram....
Thanks to all that responded |
