Thanks for the info. My Cart is charged and ready for a long Michigan summer. Is it difficult to install a voltage meter or indicator of some kind?

Did you get it working? What was it? Charge indicators are not that hard to install.

Just to dead. I charged 2 at a time with a 12 volt charger for about 2 and a half hours each. That was enough to get the 36 volt charger to kick on to finish the job. I thing the beeping must have been a low voltage warning.

I don't have a regular battery charger, but do have a jump starter I use for the boat. Do you think if I hook the jump starter to the opposite sides of the battery set it in the cart it will send enough voltage through to make the charger kick on?
