36v All New Batteries n Light still on? Nothing
My 96' club car has been garaged for over a year. The batteries were getting bad last use. When I tried to charge the yellow light on dash was on constantly. I put new batteries on it thinking bad batteries was the case. I also replaced a couple of cables that were bad. After that the light is still on and nothing. Im not a mechanic I'm savvy enough to trouble shoot if led where to start. Im really not sure of possible problems or where to start. A list of of potential problems to start eliminating would be great. Batteries are installed correctly. Thanks in advance!

scottyb, Im not currently at the cart, what are you getting at as far as the battery pack and I will check when there? Im assuming that 36 is good and anything less will trip the light on?

Re: 36v All New Batteries n Light still on? Nothing
36v would be 50% capacity and 38.3 is 100%.
You just need to see what standing voltage is and then watch the meter as you step on the gas and see if it drops ( to what?) or not? ... then we get a better idea if where the trouble is. |
