Angry Problem removing primary clutch and flywheel on 1984 G1

Hi Guys! I'm new to this so please bear with me. I have a 1984 G1 that needs new crank seals and I'm having trouble removing the primary clutch and flywheel. I have the proper clutch removal tool and flywheel puller but neither is doing the job. I bent the first clutch puller trying to get it off and was wondering if anyone has any tried and true tips for removal. Penetrating oils or heat? ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Is the puller a good one? Some after market ones are junk, bad threads and such.
If the engine is out tip it and add some penitrating fluid(not WD40).
Lube the threads and tip of the puller with some grease.
Tighten the puller, tap the end of the puller with a hammer to shock it.
Tighten again tap again repeat, repeat.
I have left the puller under tension and went about something else only to hear
the clutch pop off 15 minutes later.
Good luck, DOOMs

My 82 G1 came right off using Doomsman method real easy but my 81 G1 I used a air tool that you take off wheel lugs with and it came right off. Just remember not to hit it too many times with the air tool, hit it and then take it off tap with a hammer then throw the air to it again. Good Luck.

Cal is right, it does take an impact wrench at times.
When using one try and snug up easy and then rattle it
I try to have help to hold the clutch to absorb the impact.
Just and old superstition about rattling the bearings.

Thanks for the replies! I have used an impact wrench as that is what bent the first clutch removal tool so I've been much more gentle this time around. I've actually had the the flywheel puller on the flywhell for about a week and have constantly tightened and tapped and as of today still nothing. I guess 25 years of being assembled isn't going to come apart easy. I've been working on it all winter and now I'm down to the last things on the list and it isn't going to give up easily. I'll keep trying! Thanks again guys!

I'd loosen the puller up spray it with penetrating oil then tighten the puller back up and let it set there for a few hours then tap on it a little, man you got a tight one there buddy hope it comes off for you.

Can you check depth of threads and distance to crank and stuff
to be sure you are pushing on the crank??????????????????
This is weird.
