Start with the belts first.
If the belt is old or has been abused it might be burnt or glazed on the sides.
Check with any of our site sponsors for replacement belts.

Several offer BGW member discounts.

G2A drive belt: OEM # J55-G6241-00-00 O.D.

Specs of drive belt: 1 3/16" x 39"

Starter belt: You are better off buying this from an auto supply store. Get the old belt and show it to them. Most likely, you can buy it cheaper. Size: 1/2" x 35 1/2 " O.D. OEM J55-H1173-00-00
