03 Gas TXT - clicking noises in forward
I have a 2003 Gas TXT cart which will run fine in reverse but when trying to go forward it only makes clicking noises and no movement. Sounds like it is trying to go but not engaging. Any ideas?

Hi mate, I have a 2003 Workhorse and it was doing the same thing. It sounds like your shift cable is not moving it across enough.
Have you tried to adjust it its not too hard to do, you may have to adjust it a few times to get the best position for both gears. If that does not work you can disconnect the cable alltogether and manually push it into forward whilst rocking your cart back and forwards to see if it will slot into gear. At least that will confirm it's a cable issue rather than a diff problem. Hope you get it sorted. Aussie Workhorse  |
