Installing the clutch on my 2pg. Not going well, please help
I finally got to the point in my complete 87 2pg engine rebuild where its time to reinstall the crankshaft clutch/pulley assembly. How in the heck do you get that thing back onto the crank all the way? I had to use a clutch puller to get it off and I imagine I will need to use some kind of contraption to get it back on too. What do you do to get these things back on?

YCC,
All you have to do is put the bolt back in the center of the clutch that threads into the crank! Thats all! No special tools, it is a friction fit. Just a piece if info for ya', i WOULD put some Anti-Seize on the mating parts of the clutch and shaft! It will make your life alot easier if you have to ever take it off again! Jon |
