Clutch adjustment
I have a 1998 EZ gogas cart. I have replaced the front and rear clutches, but now have a problem of "squalling tire" everytime I start off. I suspect that maybe the spring on the front clutch is too tight. When installing the front clutch, how many turns should I be putting on the spring before I put the clutch on the clutch shaft? Or, am I completely looking in the wrong direction? Any help or ideas appreciated !!

Re: Clutch adjustment
I didn't think that you turrn anything, the clutch slides on the shaft and is torqued down.

Re: Clutch adjustment
OK, I was "loading" the spring when I put the clutch back on.Maybe I just need to put the backing plate on with no torque on the spring and let it load when I push it on the shaft?
