chris if you use jd parts and put brigs number and techuimseh in there they usaully have a jd number, same with kohler. usually it seems that all they do is repackage and add a few bucks more for that. if i need briggs parts and they have to order it its ussaully cheaper for the jd part, then wait a day or to for shiping and to get from warehouse. go to here jd parts and put your part number in the non jon deere part block and see what you get, yo would be surprised!
