Hey, is that a Coors Light box in that picture in your cart? Awww...My wife would be SO proud! Why do you think we get so much done around my garage? She works for Coors, and delivers almost FREE beer right to my garage fridge on a weekly basis!

Seat build is almost done. Just need to cover the seats in vinyl, build the hitch, paint it, and it'll be complete. Mike, we welded tubing to the seat, then bolted, and welded the nut to the tubing for the hinge. It works great! We'll start seat # 2 on Saturday.

Looks Great Jim, bout the only thing I can add is, I put fiber glass reson on the plywood, to water proof it, before the foam and vinyl went on.

I also put a a piece of vinyl on the opposite side of the seat (the side that does not get the foam). More finished look and weather proofing. They also have this beading that you can spread open and shoot a staple inside it for a finish look.
You can see it in this photo.

Keep up the good work! Mike

When the heck you gonna paint that thing Man???

I used pressure-treated plywood and will drill holes in it to drain, like the factory did. While I agree with the vinyl on the back, not sure resin would be necessary. The cart will spend its life with me, either covered at the campground, or in the garage when at home. I'll be taking care of it, unlike the previous owners of it! Especially after all this work!

I am real close on paint...I've been waiting for it to warm up! They said I need the garage at 75 degrees before I start. My little electric heaters cannot get it to 75 degrees! And, I want to make sure I have EVERYTHING done, before hand to avoid scratches!

I am mostly interested in mounting this receiver hitch...

Currently, I have a 1 7/8" ball attached to the cart.
If I put this seat on it that flips down the foot rail goes where the ball is, therefore I have to extend it...

Got advice?

ps.) i am also talking about the ones you buy not build.
