ez go battery diagram electric

the rubber on the cables that connected the batteries. The kids were ridding it and they said they started smelling smoke. Then they said they could tell the smoke was coming from under the seat at that time they took the seat off and saw fire and came running into the house to get me. I bought new cables and was told that it was probably because the nut was not tight enough on the post. I went home and checked and they seemed tight to me but who knows?

well the cart ran good for several year with no problem and then out of the blue this little problem started where it was not wanting to run for long. I messed with it for about 1 year by myself. I did get a uncle and a friends husband to look at it and they did not see anything wrong with it but they were not golf cart people. My uncle is pretty good with working on cars and tractors but she said he did not know about golf carts but he could not find anything wrong with what he saw. So I threw my hands up!

I forgot..... um the id tag in the passenger glove box has a Manufacture # Like (F399)Can you give us the manufacture #?

TIA1971, I am inclined to your charger being the first guilty here, then you went into other troubles.
We are just guessing here until you can have some sort of voltage on those batteries to conduct proper tests.

Yes, but the picture SHE posted was of a driver side tag........ I want to see the passenger side

Gaston do you know if this is a DCS cart?

Yep but it does seem to be a DCS cart from the pics? Too bad they are known to fry the controller in low voltage situations..... Well, good luck and good nite
