I ain't racing you, though you'd prolly have a tough time running through my 'hood. Even with the up and downs, in 4 -5 miles, you'd kill me.

Lol. True. I have about 3/4 mile range but I can get there in a big hurry.

So yesterday I test fit the body and looked at the rear shock mounts for clearance. There shouldn't be any problem since the electric txt frame and body are identical to the gas version in this area.

The upper shock mounts are adjustable in this Jakes gas cart rear long travel lift kit I used. There are 4 bolt holes to vary the firmness of the ride and height. I chose the most outer hole for max firmness since I was advised the rear coil-over springs were "soft" and "squishy" riding trails. When I placed the body on there are no clearance issues as-is, BUT if I wanted a softer ride or less height and used any of the inboard holes on the upper shock mount then the upper shock bolt would hit the body hard.

I know I could turn the bolt around so the nut is forward but then with body on you would never get the bolt out.

Looks like I'll have to move the upper shock mount bracket as far forward as possible. I shouldn't have to is the purpose of this post, unless I assembled it wrong in the first place.

SC, mine does the same thing. It appears that you have it all together correctly.

The only thing you could really do is just switch directions of the bolt installation, since my body was already on I really did not have a choice.

Fixed the clearance issue for if I ever want to move the coil-overs. I re-drilled the frame to move the upper mount forward as far as possible. It was a lot easier to do now while the body is still off.

Looks like the shock mount to the frame only has one bolt in it?, couldn't you have just turned the shock mount so the bolt was facing the front and rear, then the bolt would be easy to get out, and not up against the body? Carts looking good
