although your cart has a computer its job is the charging system, has nothing to do with speed unless they changed the function of it which i havn,t heard so to hear someone say its what my computer controlled GC needed leads me to beleive the best thing to do is.........RUN AWAY RUN VERY VERY FAR AWAY...........one thing a lot of carters learned the hard way is that most of this stuff they sell to enhance the speed of your cart ends up costing you big time for repairs that the item screws up...........just my opinion but i have found if you want speed you need to do it right with a high speed motor and controller upgrade and cables to handle it........lets see what others have to say i may be wrong...........................

From what I understand this product takes your cart up to the same speed as having "speed code 4" set. If your cart already goes 19.x it will not increase your speed.

Not sure how it exacly works as I have never seen on up close, but it must fool the controller about the speed of the motor, so the controller will push past 13 MPH or whatever the current speed code is capable of????

My friends cart went about 13, so instead of this solution he went to a CC dealer and had them set the speed code to 4.

If you wish to go faster that 20, you need other solutions as discussed all over this great site.

The "Speedylink" works, and works well on the Precedent(If there is a "Q" in the serial number of your cart. He is a site sponsor here. I am however looking for not only speed, but torque as well. I will be going with a PlumQuick very soon.

Not sure who said the OBC, maybe I missed that? My guess it works by fooling the speed sensor in the IQ controller.

one of the testamonials i read.......maybe he meant to say controller and not computer????? but thats what caught my attention was gaining speed thur the computer it didn,t make sense......having said that i still think the best long term way is thur a motor/controller upgrade i have heard to many stories of people getting burned by going to these plug in gadgets.................
