This one's a 95 I think. Been converted to a carburated 302. All digital dash, classic Bronco badges. Runs like a scalded dog. Guy was asking $6500 for it and when Chance told him he was going in the Marines he let him have it for $5000.

Some progress today...started the wiring but when I got to the solenoid stage I wrung the stud in the solenoid. Gotta run to auto parts place for one. So, I took the front cowl off knowing there was mud and crud under there. Washed her down pretty good, not awfully worried, it's not a trailer queen. Couple pics, had a nice day tomorrow will be also. Any suggestions on solenoid needed? Just a 12v type?

You just had to make that jab didn't you.....

Solenoid for a normal starter? I always use the old Ford truck type. They run my snowplow too. Have used them on lawn/equipment with no problem. Can't use them on a cart stock starter/gen as they are not constant duty.

I went to a tractor shop for mine, they had one for a Scag mower that fit exact, looks identical. Cost me like $15 or something. I have a feeling some of those solenoids are junk China crap, be careful. I used to sell auto parts and we had a high rate of failure for many of the automotive ones. Try to get a brand that is reputable. The one I got was actually Kawasaki brand on the package.

Got half of the front cowl cleaned and painted yellow. And then a freaking gnat had to land on it.
