EZGO maraton ID Plate

Hello,

here in the Netherlands every vehicle now needs a licenceplate from 1-1-2022.

To get a licenceplate we have to take a picture from the ID plate and send it to the Dutch DMV to get a registration.

The problem is that the Marathon I have has the ID plate removed....

Where I can get an ID plate?

The engine has an ID tag on it, not quite the same thing but maybe worth a try

Depending on the year of manufacture, you may be able to find the number on the frame under the drivers seat on a marathon. Stamped directly into the frame. You can then use this number to have an ID plate made.

You can buy blank Vin plates on amazon and stamp them with your number.

This frame has been welded under the seat where normally the VIN number is so there is no number anymore.....

On the corner where I live is a manufacter of machine Type plates, he can make me one like the ones on Amazon, but I need one with the original EZGO name on it.

Wow, just searched and yes they're available. I didn't know such an item existed, the one with three lines looks pretty close to original too. Very good

EDIT; To the OP, perhaps a print shop can help in duplicating a factory one along with your local guy... Seems like your DMV is awful picky for just a golfcart

Ok, All you need is blank plate, a local silk screen printer and an image to copy. You could even get away with a local vinyl sign shop making one for you. Plenty of good images on google to copy. If you know what year the cart is, you can dummy up the manufacturing code too. The last two digits will be the year.

Great, don't know what year yours is but my '85' measures 3-1/8" wide X 1-5/8" high
