Using non Ezgo/suburu/robin internal engine parts
Hello,
I am curious to know what is the preferred aftermarket internal engine parts brand/seller for robin 295/350 parts. I've used OEM stuff, but the cost is much higher than Aftermarket. Does anyone with a reasonable amount of experience have an opinion? I know some people can have these rebuilt for about 600-909 dollars via exchange - I find it unlikely they are using OEM parts. Also, I have access to a robin dealer, however eh29c and eh35c are not available, does Ezgo have priority to these parts as they must be the only people to use this engine. |

Re: Using non Ezgo/suburu/robin internal engine parts
I have had a bad experience with aftermarket internal parts.. Just from my own experience with that I will only buy OEM internal components... rods, pistons, valves, rings... I built an engine with aftermarket pistons once and had a rattle that turned out to be the skirting on the piston that was faulty( not within specs under a micrometer ) ... I rebuilt with OEM and the noise was gone.. That's just my experience but it was enough to put me buying OEM from now on...
