Default need pics of carburetor cables hook up

I have a 1987 gas ergo and all cables to carburetor disconnected I have 3 and I don't know where they go. Backfire and pops bad unless wide open. Any Good pics and instructions would help thanks

This is my 87. I have the choke, and a throttle cable. The other ones are for the governor. They can be eliminated.

The throttle cable should slide through a hole in the throttle lever. Slide the spring from an ink pen over the cable, and then a ferule to lock it in place.

The spring holds the throttle lever closed just long enough for the microswitches to make contact. This prevents backfiring, and gives a real nice throttle response.

Your carburetor should be spring loaded open while everything is disconnected.

I appreciate the help I need to know what kinda oil goes in an 87 ezgo to strOke marathon oil injection

I use Walmart Supertech 2 stroke oil.

In the pictures above, you can see the screw in my intake manifold where the oil injector used to be. The best thing you could do is remove the injector, and premix your gas like 99% of the people on here do.


128:1 One ounce of oil to one gallon of gas.

About 3.5 I had a auto shop long time ago but these buggies are a different kind of animal . I need help on my 87 ezgo gas cart it made a click and it didn't start keep trying and it would start change out solenoid but now no click or start any info on that

You will ind the wiring diagram in this manual.

Corrosion on the wires.

Loose, or dirty grounds

Microswitches not working properly (There are 2 in series with the key switch)

Battery not up to snuff.
