re: OBC Bypass ~ Technnical Tips
If You are referring to the powerDrive Plus Regen2 model below:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...s_-regen2-.jpgThat is the one that You need to connect a fuse between the white and Blue wires on the OBC circuit. Cut the White and Blue wires between the OBC and the 6-pin plug and add a fuse on those 2 wires on the harness side. If You can, just cut the fuse holder that is on the OBC red wire and use that fuse holder to connect the white and blue wires together. Just make sure all other unused pins are either removed from the OBC 6-pin connector as shown on the first posts, or put electrical tape on any cut wires to isolate them. |

re: OBC Bypass ~ Technnical Tips
Sergio this diagram is what I was telling you this cart is in the middle of these two diagrams if you take the one that has the V Glide and you take the other drawing that has the potentiometer in it it's a combination of those it's more like the V Glide drawing but it has two solenoids and that coil. but it has the controller just like the V Glide drawing So based on that info what do you say

re: OBC Bypass ~ Technnical Tips
Only the OLD T shaped Regen1 controller used the Negative on Yellow wire to provide the lockout.
If Your OBC has a White and a Blue wire, use the procedure that connects those wires together. |

re: OBC Bypass ~ Technnical Tips
Sir, are you talking about pulling the yellow wire out of the plug for the controller? Any help would be great. My cart was working then I decided to upgrade the controller. :(

re: OBC Bypass ~ Technnical Tips
All model years of the Series carts, the OBC provided the negative side for the Solenoid on the Yellow wire.
95-03 Series DS wiring DiagramYou need to run the Yellow wire that is connected to the solenoid small post directly to Controller B- or pack negative. You need to run the black 10ga negative wire from the back of the charger receptacle directly to pack negative. |

re: OBC Bypass ~ Technnical Tips
Can a DPI charger be used without bypassing the OBC for a short period time? Or does the bypass need to take place first? I have not tired the bypass yet but thought in the meantime I could use a charge on the batteries but don't want to mess things up.
Thanks |
