Mikuni Carburetor adjustment
I have a 1986 club car with the Kawasaki motor in it, I cleaned the Mikuni carburetor and the cart is running the best it has ever run, the question I have is the air/fuel adjustment on the carb was at 3 1/2 turns when I removed it for cleaning. I was wondering if someone can tell me the standard turns for this adjustment.
Yesterday it smelled like it was running a little rich is why I ask. |

Re: Mikuni Carburetor adjustment
About 1-1/2 to 2 turns is normal. The mixture screw generally only affects starting, but when its that far out it can add extra gas at low-mid throttle as well. Too much fuel in the low RPM range will just waste fuel.
