48v ECO battery for converted 36v Series TXT
Looking at an ECO 105ah for my older Series 1998 TXT. It was 36v but is being converted to 48v. I would just order the kit for the TXT48v, correct?
A-051105-01-EZGO-TXT 48V https://ecobattery.com/s/product/det...et-45333=ab40d Is this the Gen2 "skinny" battery that fits in the stock battery tray without modifications? I assume the tray for the older 36v is the same as the newer 48v TXT's? Anyone have a pic of this in place? Does the Gen 2 "skinny" battery also have that thru hole mounting shown on the website? I thought it mounted differently, no? Trying to make sure I order the right parts. Thanks |

Re: 48v ECO battery for converted 36v Series TXT
After looking at the site some more and trying to decipher the part numbers it looks like the battery should be A-051105-03. The "-03" appears to be the skinny battery. I just don't see a kit for that specific to the TXT.

Going to follow along on your choices. I have the same 1998 TXT with the same game plan.
Why are you choosing the 48-105ah over the 48-72ah? |

Make sure you are looking at a combo so you get the right charger and keep your warranty intact... The combo also gets you a DC reducer and monitor gauge. You can call them for selection support

72ah probably would have been fine but I would hate to be wrong and regret my decision. |

The 51v/105ah "Skinny" is made to drop right in the front or back of a TXT tray. It will fit all years of the TXT and Medalist.
If you use your stock tray, you will need to drill four holes to secure the battery with our provided hardware. If you use our optional tray, it comes pre-drilled with every pattern for all of our batteries. |

Re: 48v ECO battery for converted 36v Series TXT
The battery fits like a glove and is very secure with the four holes drilled through the battery tray and fitted 3/8 bolts and nylocks. You will be happy with your decision I am sure. My 36 volt txt has been converted to a 48 volt system with Navitas controller, heavy duty solenoid, 2 gauge wiring, and Plum Quick Crocodile motor, and it makes even
